The Village Day 2019 in review

Village Day offered the opportunity for people to meet their parish church team, and for us to share events and offer pastoral support as appropriate.

A team from All Saints and St John the Baptist had a stall at North Baddesley Village Day 2019, to help people meet their parish church. The day was an opportunity to meet people and their pets from the village. In addition to being able to have some good pastoral conversations there was opportunity to share the events and services their parish churches offer.

Meeting pets was also a great pleasure and we shared the excitement of the coming fun dog show at Ampfield with a fair few owners. We are looking to run a similar ‘meet your parish church’ event at St Mark – could you volunteer to help us?

Village Day is an annual fete or carnival like event held annually on North Baddesley Recreation ground in May. We’re grateful to the village day committee for their excellent work again. Big thanks too to church volunteers who set up the stall and ran it, and to our lovely neighbours at the fete ‘Living with Harmony Music Therapy’ and Harmony Twirlers, who are a youth baton twirling ground in Eastleigh.
