Carols, Cakes and other good things

for the Second Week of Advent in 2019
Dear Friends
Advent is well in train.
It is in the Collect for this Second Sunday that those five glorious verbs 'hear, read, mark, learn and inwardly digest' were drafted for the Book of Common Prayer.
They centre this Church of England in the study, reverence, and understanding of Holy Scripture.

Rejoice with me in that that slender thread of God's strange grace that wanders through the pages of scripture. May you, May we all hear, read, mark, learn and inwardly digest it's meaning and share it with all who will hear. Ian Wyllie
