Messy church and Café church @acnb

First Sundays @acnb have a choice of services, with our thriving Messy Church at All Saints, North Baddesley and our relaxed Café Church at St Mark, Ampfield.

First Sundays @acnb offer a mix of services welcoming people of all ages, both on-site and online. We’re looking forward to welcoming you at either or both, with tea, coffee and sweet treats!

9:30 (refreshments from 9:15) @ St Mark, Ampfield - Café Church

Our Café Church is a short informal service, with coffee, tea and cake served before the service. It’s available both on-site and online (streamed on our YouTube channel). We look at the same theme as Messy Church (see below) but with a bit less mess (hence our previous name for the this sevice of Tidy Church)! There’s an introduction, a reading, a short reflection on the reading, a choice of activity - something to think about, or do, or a Lego challenge, prayer, and songs. It’s a chance to meet up and think about a Bible story and about God in an accessible and bite-sized way.

11:00 (refreshments from 10:30) @ All Saints, North Baddesley - Messy Church

Messy Church uses hands-on activities to encourage adults and children alike to explore Bible stories and learn about God. The service starts at 11:00 with drinks and pastries available from 10:30. It’s a lively service with everyone, young and older alike, getting stuck into all kinds of activities. In Messy Church we have a reading, do a range of activities based on the reading for everyone to explore together, with a short talk, prayers, and finish by singing songs together.

Lots of people already enjoy these services as a chance to come together and learn more about God. Why not join them?
