The Church of England at its involved and active best. A Holy Communion service using Common Worship in Ampfield. 9.30am start for about an hour usually on the second and fourth Sundays of the month.
Children and families are very welcome at this service.
On the Fourth Sunday of the month the congregation gets quite a lot bigger because many of our friends from All Saints join St Mark for this communion service. The mixing and learning that comes with this partnership is valuable and strengthens our life together.
Common Worship is a collection of prayers, liturgies and other words you will hear in a service. It includes services in both traditional and everyday language. We normally use the everyday language versions at St Marks. Common Worship is a family of volumes which, together with the Book of Common Prayer, make up the official liturgical resource of the Church of England.
