Watch video to see Churches Together in North Baddesley on Halloween gathered at All Saints giving out bags of hope and offer free soup to passing trick or treaters. Each bag contains treats without tricks and a fun book telling a little of the Christian story.
On a cold dry night in North Baddesley a team from Churches Together in North Baddesley set up shop outside All Saints Church on Rownhams Road offering free chicken or tomato soup and ‘Bags of Hope’ to many of the trick or treaters in the village tonight. The volunteer team included folk from Baddesley Baptist Church, True Life Church and All Saints Church.
The central location of All Saints Church makes it an ideal location for this sort of outreach activity and it was a good base for some smaller teams to take bags of ‘Bags of Hope’ out down some of the other roads in the village where there were concentrations of people enjoying Halloween.
‘Bags of Hope’ are a project from United Christian Broadcasters, commonly known as UCB and their partners OneHope and World Vision. The attractive packaging and the quality materials inside mean this is an excellent opportunity for churches wanting to engage with their communities. Thank you to UCB and their donors for making this project so easy to engage with, and keeping the bags affordable.
