@acnbchurch is the Church of England worshipping community in the parish of Ampfield, Chilworth
and North Baddesley. We are here for all so that the light of God may be made visible
in our local communities. We are an Inclusive Church.
We are in vacancy and advertising for a new vicar. If you’d like to know more, you can find the profile, role description
and application forms on the Winchester Diocese website.
We are upgrading the track that leads to the door of St Mark’s. The work starts on 18th June and while it continues the building will not be open
during the day during the week.
While work is happening, there will be a signed pedestrian diversion to St Mark’s Room going around the North side of it.
Due to building work on All Saints roof we have to close the main church building for 3 weeks from 6th July 2026 and cancel all services and activities. The office, vestry and meeting room will still be accessible, as will Arthur’s Play Space.
There will be a sign up list for people needing and able to provide lifts to alternative Sunday services. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated during this period.
27th September - please note that there will only be one service which will be 9:30am at St Mark’s.
The dates for this year’s annual meetings (APCMs) are:
North Baddesley: 19:30 on Wed 21st May at All Saints
Chilworth: 14:00 on Fri 23rd May at St Denys'
Ampfield: 10:45 on Sun 25th May at St Mark’s
An obituary notice.
We are an inclusive and welcoming group of three communities following the example of
Jesus Christ. Working together locally we seek to encourage one another to live the way Jesus taught
To seek to learn and live a new life as a disciple of Christ.
We share our faith in the local community through organising or hosting various activities. Across the villages we use and take care of four church buildings - St Mark in Ampfield, St Denys in Chilworth and All Saints and St John the Baptist, both in North Baddesley.
What’s on this week
Who’s Who?
We are in vacancy and do not have a vicar at the moment. Please pray for the churchwardens,
area dean, the PCC and lay ministers and all our volunteers as we work through the process
of appointing a new vicar.
Our churches rely on many people working in unity: almost all voluntarily.
Here are some of the team.
Sally Kerson is both lay minister and office administrator for our parish
For our second April opportunity for you to express your creativity we are excited to host a “Paint and Wine” evening at All Saints Church, North Baddesley.
The “Paint and Wine” trend has become popular in major cities across the world so we delighted that this one is taking place in the village.
Our previous service pattern served us well as we emerged from Covid lockdowns and had
a period without a vicar. With a new vicar and as Covid restrictions have been lifted it is time for something new.
