Parish churches in Ampfield, Chilworth & North Baddesley

On Friday 4th September 2020
Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader]

Next weekend is a busy weekend by recent standards. As I mentioned last week, Sat 12th is the annual 'Ride and Stride' and there's still opportunity to join a walk or sponsor someone else if you want to. Alternatively, if gardening is more your thing then there's a churchyard tidy-up at St John's on Sunday 13th. More details of both, below.

This week's online service is Worship For All and we'll be thinking about 'people'. Once again, bring you brains and your breakfast and we'll see you at 09:30 on YouTube ( and on the benefice website.
The in-person service is at St Mark's for those who have booked and will be followed by 'Communion to Go' from 11-12 at St Denys'.

Churchyard Tidy-up at St John's

There are a few jobs to be done in the churchyard at St John's, weather permitting. Do come and join us if you can to help, or even just to supervise - you will be most welcome.

Ride and Stride 2020

During the last five months many of us have enjoyed being out of doors walking and cycling, mainly because restrictions on indoor gatherings has been limited. Taking part in the Ride and Stride gives an opportunity for us to see each other, at a safe distance, as well as raising money for our churches. Help support @acnbchurch and other churches …

Thanks, Tony, for this picture of his son's kitten, Kenny, taken while Tony was house and cat-sitting over the last few weeks.
Meanwhile. In other news the seasons roll on. Please send us lots of pictures. We look forward to sharing and seeing what everyone is up to.
