For the Third Sunday of Epiphany 2020

Dear [subscriber:firstname | default:reader],

The Collect for this Sunday cries out to God: renew your people with your heavenly grace, and in all our weakness sustain us by your mighty power. That might seem like a more necessary prayer than usual. I've been reading Hebrews and it's good to be reminded that:

We do not have a high priest who is unable to empathise with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
